We want people who make a difference. We also want to arm our employees with all the tools, training and education they need to make that difference.

For starters, all new Fleishman-Hillard employees undergo a standard orientation session. These trainings feature presentations on the agency, its culture, its local office expertise, and an introduction to the policies, procedures and available tools.

In addition, ongoing education is provided both in person and through the company's intranet—The Source. Many offices offer in person, on-site training sessions on client issues, technology resources, and new business. These sessions are conducted by staff members at all levels, with clients and outside consultants invited periodically to present specialized courses. Our senior vice presidents and above are given the opportunity to participate in our Leadership Institute for Managers.

Recognizing New Communications Opportunties

We are also committed to rewarding rising stars. We have created leadership opportunities at the general manager level, practice group level, and client level (customer relationship managers). Recognizing client need for more industry specific resources, we created new leadership positions for digital communications, multicultural marketing, innovation, and sports marketing.

In 2007, we are instituting a firm-wide program to train our entire network of professionals on how digital tools, technologies and techniques can help increase our impact and results with clients.
