Paul Johnson Vice Chairman Worldwide Growth and President, Public Affairs

Paul Johnson has 27 years of public affairs and public relations experience across a wide range of corporate-image, public policy, and crisis communications issues. Paul also manages the firm's global practice groups and co-chairs Fleishman-Hillard's Senior Management Committee, which is responsible for the firm's overall client service, growth, and operations.

A charter member of Fleishman-Hillard's Washington, D.C., office, Paul joined the firm in 1985 and launched the firm's government relations division. Under his leadership, this division quickly became one of the largest non law firm lobbying operations in Washington. In 1995, he was promoted to general manager of the Washington, D.C., office and within two years, had doubled the size of the operation by launching an array of new communications services and by seamlessly integrating the firm's public relations, public affairs, and government relations offerings. Paul's current management responsibilities also include the Mid-Atlantic and Latin America markets.
